We do a lot of custom work for our clients and appreciate their trust in Gallery Gemma Jewellery to deliver their hearts desire.

The process starts in one of two ways:

We meet and get to know and understand what you would like,(and sometimes that comes from only knowing what you do not like),  we take it from there, drawing and sketching to scale to present to you some coloured images for your feedback and guidance.  Once we narrow down the design it is then put into a CAD (computer animated design) program which brings the design into 3 dimension and from that we build a wax prototype to scale.  Generally speaking we cast the piece, set the gemstones and finish and present to you your new piece of jewellery!  We have contacts with gem dealers worldwide and can source diamonds, pearls and gemstones to meet any design needs and budgets.

The other option is for you to bring in pieces of jewellery that you are not wearing, or perhaps have inherited and we can use these to create  new stunning pieces of jewellery that you will want to wear forever.

We remove the gemstones from the various pieces of jewellery you have brought in and we melt down the gold/silver/platinum, sell the gold and put the cash that  it generates towards the new project.  We clean up the gemstones and use them in the re-design (if you wish).

The CAD drawing shown on this page, started out as a pair of emerald earrings and an amethyst pendant that the client wasn't wearing.   She wanted an ultra contemporary ring using a wide band and the finished ring was nothing short of spectacular for the client.

Whether starting with only ideas or with your jewellery box of unloved pieces, either way, the process & end result is deeply satisfying.
